Quiet your mind & listen to him

It really is possible to hear from Jesus. No, its not necessarily a loud booming voice from the sky, but more of a "still small voice.”

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of The Lord, for The Lord is about to pass by.”

And behold, The Lord passed by. A great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before The Lord, but The Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but The Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but The Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

1 Kings 19:11-12

Spend quality time, experience Shalom

Sometimes faith can seem more of a mental construct than an embodied experience.

This can feel so disheartening when we actually face choices in in life where we desperately need His guidance in order to move forward in confidence that we've made the right decision.

It's important to learn how to quiet your mind and posture your heart so that you can actually hear what He is saying to you.

Everything Jesus did was to create a real and intimate relationship with you. This side of heaven.

So you can walk in daily communication with Him

I’m here to help you learn how to truly find rest in Him in a very practical way.

When your nervous system experiences regulation, even if just for small amounts of time, you begin to actually feel safe within your body. This creates the right environment for quality quiet time with The Holy Spirit.

03

process emotions with jesus

Trauma & unprocessed emotions create many uncomfortable symptoms within the mind and body. Cultivating Sabbath is designed to help bring noticeable relief to soothe both body & soul.

04

process and heal from trauma

Jesus is the only one who can bring true healing. We do not have to “work” for it or “dig” into our trauma in order to experience freedom. We just have to rest in Him in order to witness Him heal the wounds that afflict us.

Cultivating Sabbath is an invitation to learn how to walk in His promises.

There are so many promises found within The Holy Scriptures.

Promises about God's character, His plans, His power, His thoughts towards His children, and SO MUCH MORE.

We know that The Word is ALIVE & ACTIVE, sharper than any two-edged sword. That it is God's gift to help us navigate life in a fallen world.

Do you experience this in a felt sense when you face trials & tribulations in your life?

Or do you notice that you live in doubt?

Does your body align with your beliefs?

Or do you notice a disconnect between what you think and how you feel about God?

God's promises aren't given to us so that we just memorize verses to spiritually bypass the pain we experience in life.

They are given to us so that we can FEEL and KNOW who He is and how He cares for us in the deepest depths of our being.

We need to learn how to EMBODY our faith and walk in His promises throughout the ups and downs of life.

“I have been doing trauma work for the last 8 years and while it has been very helpful and I have healed a great deal through therapy I have always longed for a more holistic way to deal with my anxiety without tapping into the new age traditions. The search was very hard because it seems even some believers are knowing or unknowingly participating in some new age rituals when it comes to healing. I spent some time in prayer about healing my nervous system and more biblical ways to cope with my anxiety and trauma response and God led me to Cultivating Sabbath though a friend! I was very skeptical at first and had a lot of questions and concerns but Nicole was very patient, loving and reassured me that each class is focused on Jesus and that healing only comes though him. My first class was amazing!! I felt comfortable and at ease and I didn’t feel like I was compromising my relationship with the lord but rather leaning into him. I am excited to explore more techniques and Christ centered coping and healing though these classes. & I hope that you’ll be just as blessed as I was when I finished my class!”

"I first met Nicole last summer when I randomly (not random at all! Thank you, Holy Spirit!) stumbled across her IG page. I saw a video where she offered to share some somatic techniques to process trauma. It was impeccable timing as some tough emotions had begun to surface again, and the trauma of SA had been plaguing my heart and mind. Against everything my mind was telling me, I reached out to her. Although I have gone to counseling, therapy, prayer sessions, etc occasionally, I will feel the trauma begin to rear its ugly head. Nicole set up a zoom call for us. I had so much anxiety about meeting a stranger and pouring out my heart to her over a zoom call, but when the call began, I immediately felt so safe with her. I cannot explain it. Nicole is so kindhearted – her tenderness is tangible, and her voice is soothing and comforting! She is passionate about the work that she does, and it comes across in everything she says and does. In this class, “Cultivating Sabbath”, Nicole takes you through a guided time of gentle movements, breathing, and somatic techniques all while gently (virtually) holding your hand through prayer and reading scripture over us. I don’t have words to adequately express how much I needed this. I was able to quiet the anxious and intrusive thoughts long enough to be present in my body and to allow the presence of Jesus to have His way in those moments. I cannot stress enough how tender and gentle, the process was, nor how safe I felt. I highly recommend diving into these classes with Nicole to cultivate healing in your life."

“Nicole's Sabbath class has truly been the perfect gift in my season of life! I'm very cautious about New Age practice so I was relieved when I took her class; it truly is a Christ centered approach to healing trauma in the body! I've been through some really hard traumas that make it difficult for me to be still and feel safe in my body. This can leave me feeling frustrated as I want to be able to be still, and truly hear from The Lord. I know He is always there for me, but there's something beautiful about being able to be still and listen without feeling anxious. Her class, even after just one time, helped me slow down and be present in my body. I was able to truly rest, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I felt held and safe by The Holy Spirit. I look forward to continuing to take her classes as she uses her gift to help me truly embody my faith. The Holy Spirit speaks through Nicole. Not only does she use her gift in class, but she also taught me how I can use these tools on my own with The Lord. This is so helpful when my body becomes dysregulated. I truly encourage you to giver her classes a try.”

“Since Nicole came into my life and began praying for me, supporting me and working with me, things have changed for the better. I have experienced a deeper connection with myself and with God by connecting with her. The prayer support she has provided me with has been a light in the darkness and helped me through many struggles. Her gentle coaching has helped me move and connect to my body when I had previously hated and been ashamed of it. There was no judgement from her. Best of all, Nicole understands trauma on a deep level and was able to anticipate my needs. At times, I would feel like I was ”too much" and even though I did not verbalize that, Nicole assured me and reassured me that it was ok to ask for prayer, support and really helped me feel SAFE when communicating. This is not something I've been able to feel with many people in the past. I highly recommend working with Nicole. She has been the biggest blessing in my life."

Nicole is passionate about living a life serving and loving the body of Christ. She has experienced massive inner healing from complex trauma thanks to walking in relational intimacy with Jesus. She specializes in incorporating body work with sanctification work for the most healing and transformation possible.

Over the years of seeking Him to heal the wounds of her soul, she has refined a variety of somatic techniques that help bring relief to the body while pressing in for the life transformation & healing breakthrough Jesus promises.

She believes that the promises within the bible are to be lived here in the now. That salvation isn't just about entering the gates of heaven.

We do not need to “work for” or “dig” to experience healing. We only need to cultivate the right kind of inner environment to promote healing while we pray. To invite The Holy Spirit in to the places within the wounded soul that groan in pain, still bound by the sufferings of our past.

There is TRUE freedom and healing to be found in Jesus. There is a REALNESS to be felt when we actually embody our faith.

If you feel led to join, take the leap of faith He is calling you to take. It will be so worth it.
